Giclees (pronounced zhee-clay): Coming from our commitment to provide collectors with giclees of the highest possible quality, we made sure we were using the finest archival materials and best technology available for the production of the Jerry Hjelm Twentieth Anniversary Collection. The state-of-the-art Cruse scanner was selected for its ability to capture all nuances. Cruse scanners are in use at the Chateau de Versailles near Paris, France; the Beethoven Museum in Bonn, Germany; and the Vatican Archives in Rome, Italy.

The Somerset Enhanced Velvet 255-gram paper we have selected closely replicates the paper used by the artist when painting his original oil pastel paintings. The pigment-based archival inks are used on pH neutral, acid-free archival fine arts paper; these materials have been independantly tested by Wilhelm Research Labs and are guaranteed to last about 100 years with proper care.
